Cooking method:
Cooking Rice in a Pressure Cooker:
1. Soak & Rinse Rice: Soak rice in cold water for approximately 30 minutes before cooking. Rinse 1 cup of rice under cold water 2-3 times.
2. Add to Cooker: Place the rinsed rice in the pressure cooker.
3. Add Water: Add 4 cups of water to the pressure cooker. Turn on the flame.
4. Cook on High Pressure: Close the lid and cook on high pressure upto 5 whistles. Turn off the flame.
5. Natural Release: Allow the pressure to release naturally for 5-6 minutes.
6. Manual Release: After 5-6 minutes, release any remaining pressure manually.
7. Fluff and Serve: Open the lid, fluff the rice with a fork, and serve hot.
